So, there's the back yard. We had a few trees taken down, cut to length, and then left with the brush for us to deal with. It's way cheaper that way, plus now we have logs we can split for firewood this winter. Sure, we don't have a wood fireplace, but that's not stopping us! (Actually, we're going to get a wood stove insert for our fireplace and convert it back from gas)
We made pretty good progress today. There's still a couple tree's worth of brush over behind the right side there, but we'll get that up in the morning... or, at least as much of it as we can. Our neighbor's dad is coming over with a chipper in the afternoon and we'll take care of the mess we made in the front.
There's two day's worth of brush hauling. It might not look like much here, but that pile is over 6' tall in the middle and about 45' long.
